There is a high demand for IT jobs right now because of how fast technology is progressing—companies need employees who can keep up with the changes and are willing to keep their qualifications relevant to our current times.
2. Medicine
Another path you can consider after high school is the medical realm. In medicine, you can become anything from a doctor, dentist, to surgeon or veterinary. It will take years of experience and education to work in the medical industry as there are many intricacies and medical specializations you can go through before tending to a real patient. There are internships that can help you get a taste of the job before you work the real deal, so you don’t have to commit to something you don’t like.

Entrepreneurship, like any career path, can be rewarding. Running your own business is by far one of the most rewarding things you can do in life. You will learn so much from the process, you will most likely end up wanting to repeat the process again for a second or third business. Although the success rate for entrepreneurship can be a rollercoaster, it all depends on your skills and a businessperson and as a marketer.
There are many things you can do as an entrepreneur. You can of course start your own business from a hobby or side jobs you enjoy. You can also get a college degree in any field you want and make a business out of it as well. So if you gain a bachelor’s degree in IT, you can become an independent network engineering contractor for other larger companies or provide independent services on your own. There are also franchising opportunities you can look into. So if you’ve always wanted to open your own restaurant from a specific line, for example, you can purchase a franchise and start making your own money under their brand.
